Welcome to sbcRobotics
|
sbcRobotics is a STARTUP and is offering a narrow range of
programmable autonomous robotics and learning kits. Currently
sbcRobotics is offering a line of specialized autonomous robots for
educators, students, and the serious professional. These are not
production robots that will work in a production or assembly lines,
with high precision.
For any questions about the robots, please visit the "contact us"
page. The name sbcRobotics is one word, all lowercase, except
for the letter R. The first three letters, "sbc", stand for
"Single Board Computer". To learn more about SBCs visit,
http://www.linuxdevices.com/.
At sbcRobotics, the words "Robot" and "Autonomous"
are synonymous. Remote controlled machines are not robots. Just as puppets
are not robots. Therefore the word "robot", and "autonomous robot" are the same.
The site is still under construction and will be updating it often. At least once
per week as the projects are advanced.
The Mission:
To leverage the power of the Internet; to learn, teach and further the Art and
Science of Autonomous Robotics. By providing "learning robot kits" to the interested
and the serious robotics professional.
